So you'd want to give up roughly $1000-$2500 actual US dollars per year (or more when you factor in the lost DC) in exchange for a smattering of hotel points? I get that it'd be nice to have, but what would you really be getting in return? A handful of free nights a year and the occasional decent breakfast? Maybe it makes sense for commuters or super junior NB guys who are always on the road, but I'm not sure I see that much value in it personally.
