I like getting health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, reimbursement for my medical and EKG, paid dry cleaning, travel benefits, and the plethora of other stuff we get in addition to pay. And I like that we stay in nice hotels instead of the airport LaQuinta and that we dead head in first class, I’m happy to give up some hard cash for those fringe benefits.

I also enjoyed the pre-dinner snacks and drinks and breakfast at the hotel in Switzerland this weekend, thanks to hotel status. And 2 pretty nice breakfasts in Ireland last month for the same reason. I’ll take a mix of cash and benefits like we have now over just a paycheck.
