Sure.....just like in my firearm example they could (and certainly would) make me leave the airport sterile area, and I very well could face company dicipline for not being able to operate the flight, but tell me which law i would be charged with if I did that??

The ONLY laws that are remotely applicable are circumventing or attempting to circumvent a screening checkpoint, or tresspassing, if I refused to leave....neither of which I'm talking about. Having your belongings searched at the checkpoint is certainly permitted of course.

Some people just don’t understand the laws which govern THEM, nor are they willing to do any research. They easily cower to whatever “authority” appears at that moment. COVID proved that without a doubt.
