I agree. Lots of places were incentivizing the early retiring of their people within three years of regular retirement to save money - US Government money even. And when the COVID caused stoppages proved not nearly that enduring, they've been struggling ever since having sent the prime of their corporate memory packing. That hurt a number of different organizations - a large aerospace firm beginning with a "B" and ending with an "oeing" coming rather vividly to mind.
