Right, for the MCAS software. I guess they are channeling all their resources into getting the 777X TIA done so they can start delivering that aircraft before moving back to the MAX 7 for an eventual TIA application.
They have reason and the resources to do both simultaneously. The 777X is having pylon issues right now and is very recently grounded.
I still think it will be a long time for both programs. Boeing commercial has hit rock bottom and they need to work the steps to getting healthy again. None of that is going to happen quickly. Their turnaround will happen eventually, but it's going to take a decade or more.
I think anyone who thinks the Max 7 will be delivered in mid 2025 probably needs to put the crack pipe down.
