They have reason and the resources to do both simultaneously. The 777X is having pylon issues right now and is very recently grounded.
I still think it will be a long time for both programs. Boeing commercial has hit rock bottom and they need to work the steps to getting healthy again. None of that is going to happen quickly. Their turnaround will happen eventually, but it's going to take a decade or more.
I think anyone who thinks the Max 7 will be delivered in mid 2025 probably needs to put the crack pipe down.
what? The MAX7 flight test program has been done for years. It is paperwork holding it up now. That is why the planes are idle.
