If you read the latest web cast on the HUB (from yesterday I think) there are a few references to 50 seat flying at US Airways.
1) the only flying they CAN reduce is wholly owned. The others are under contract.
2) they are monitoring MESA very closely. And NOT renewing any of MESAs 50 seat flying.

We’re looking at every potential scenario should Mesa’s financial picture become unsustainable.
Mesa did settle a lawsuit that had been a major concern for its finances; it also is meeting with Delta
to discuss Delta’s announced intent to end its contract with Mesa. We have no idea at this point what
Mesa intends to do, but VP-Express Dion Flannery says US Airways planners are looking at all kinds
of contingencies. Mesa flies for us as US Airways Express from PHX and Charlotte.
