Currently flying single pilot king air with a superviser role (not CP)
No Degree, one year of college then dropped out to fly full time- already had all my ratings and at the time and the pilot market was great so I went straight into 135

Employment history is my biggest hold up. First big screw up was 2.5 years ago at an imfamously scetchy 135 shop. Was working 28 days a month and was asked to come fly on my 2 scheduled days off that month and declined. Was threatened by the DO twice that I would be fired if I didnt, and on the second time he said maybe I should resign if i can't come in and at that point I had enough so I did. HR accepted my immediate resignation but the following day I received an email that my resignation was declined and I was terminated. They put it on my PRD as such. I was an at will employee and this was illegal but my lawyer said theres pretty much nothing they can do about it. Next screw up was 100% my fault- 1.5 years ago I was employed as a charter pilot for only 9 months for a small company then quit. I was commuting coast-to-coast and the 'quick' upgrade I was promised was clearly not happening so I bailed for a PIC job. I know pretty much all I can do at this point is build consistent employment history and be a star employee and hope for a good hiring wave.

TIA
I’d have to say you are not currently competitive. 2 years ago, you would have been but hiring has stopped pretty much everywhere so the normal competitive mins have returned. Lacking 121 pic time and a degree. Those are 2 of the most important things to differentiate candidates when it gets competitive which it is right now.

I would still apply. You never know if you don’t try, but I doubt they’ll call.
