When I was on the property, he did nothing except take care of his "Good Ole Boy" network! Look at the hiring, he allowed his "Flight Manager" to have pilot candidates stay at his home during the interview process. How did this not end up in HR is beyond me! Did you hear the rumor about a new hire, whom the someone thought was on team parade during the interview? New hire was invited to a "house party", when he politely declined and voiced that he wasn't on team parade, the someone tried to get the new hire fired.
That's the rumor on the street anyways. Not quite as juicy as the Captain who repeated a line from one of the most famous comedies of the last 20yrs. And almost got fired for it.
