Election closes in time for them to feather their beds at BoD/MEC elections. If they can pull roll call for EVP, they can possibly get one of their guys in that spot and continue this crusade unabated at national.

Everybody has a right to their political views, but they do not have the right to hijack our labor union to drive their views. That's exactly what they're trying to do here, they don't care about unions (in fact they suite hate them) but it's the vehicle they see as having the opportunity to use.
