Default Why Are We Still Not Wearing Our Lanyards?

Frontier’s pay rates are trailing the industry by more than 40%. First officers at our peer airlines are earning more than our captains. When you compare our contract, we fall behind in nearly every work rule.

The Union has asked us to do one simple thing: wear our lanyards.

So why are some pilots still refusing to wear them?

I get it—they’re ugly, they stand out, and they get people’s attention. But that’s the point. We need to inform the public that we make 40% less than our peers and that, at the first chance of a strike, we will be walking off the job. Booking with Frontier means putting their vacation at risk.

With the strike vote open, it’s time to stand unified!
