Rick, you can't even compare I-Air to XJT in the context in which you did. Sorry to bust your chops on this one, but you need to check your facts on this.

I was ACA/I-Air from 2000 till 2005. We hired up until Jan-Feb 2003. Those guys were furloughed around April 2003. There was another furlough later that year. In Feb of 05 is when they announced the furlough of roughly 800 pilots. ACA flew the last UAX flight in the summer of 04, I-Air started right after that.

THERE WERE NO NEW HIRES under the I-Air name. In fact, there were no new hires for almost 18 months before transitioning to I-Air. So by saying going to work for XJT after the first reduction was like going to work for I-Air is just not a valid comparison, sorry. When those guys in the first furlough got hired, it was Atlantic Coast Airlines DBA United Express and Delta Connection.

It would be no different than going to work for AWAC or SkyWest at that time.

If you want to dispute these facts, feel free to PM me and I can send you each sequential seniority list, along with the pay stubs and the company name on the stub and dates on each to back it up.
