You sell yourself short. Many travelers would not be comfortable knowing their pilot is the lowest paid in the industry. Many pass associate low pay with low quality pilots. Not a good look for an airline struggling with its image.
Most pilots agree the lanyards send a soft message and look lame. Hopefully the union can correct that and send out something with a punch.
