Kirby and the network team he brought from AA are by far the best management/network team United Airlines has had in the last thirty years plus by a wide margin. Prior to him arriving United was contemplating dehubbing IAD, DEN and/or LAX. He has grown the network, its hubs and profitability dramatically while paying down debt and increasing unencumbered assets. The amount and variety of the flying available to United pilots is amazing and we have a pretty nice contract.
