I don’t know if the OP is still reading this thread but I think this is a clear “grass is always greener” situation. You’re currently living in base, driving to work, making bank. If you jump to delta you will eventually have that same setup again. Most likely in the same equipment, all it will require is: a year of probie pay, uproot your family and move, significant hit to seniority and the added threat of furlough while you ride the bottom of the list. All to be in the same exact position you are already in for the next 10 years. If it’s the airplane you hate, go to United. If you just want to drive to work and enjoy your life, stay put.
