Stick with the path or move on??
Good evening guys im currently sitting here filling out applications. Who knows why. Id love to hear your opions..... ive been workingt my butt off to try and put myself in this position. The older I get the more emphasis I put on being able to drive to work. Im currently at b6. Ive really enjoyed my experience here captains are awesome and always friendly, CPO has been amaszing and really want to help you. But after working my butt off for so long I know this generation has found ourselves in a lucky spot. I went straight from AA regijonal to B6 after about a year at AA regional. Being able to get that type ride has been super special to me. But my goal in leaving was to eventually make my way back to American. I like their bases and equipment as well as their route structure. Well no bites from them. I interviewd with Delta and about 3 montrh laster I re interviewed, both times i wasnt awarded the jobl. Which crused my sould initially but i beliebe it was a blessing in disguise becasue id be stuck in ATL for the rest of my life. ( i refuse to coommute) I dont care what equipment Im on, a plane is a plane. But I would like to h ave the option to at least go to the wide girls. im 3 years in here at the blue one and i do enjoy it, not south florida so much but i could see myself here. With all the crasziness going on non of my captains had said get out a get on ASAP if you have the means. Single, dont own anything im an easy guy. I was curious what yall think about this one? The plan was to jump to AA as fast as I could but i cant get them to bite on my resume? Or should i just stick it out. The concensus seems to be before i retire we will be bought by one of the legacies at some point.
