That's a lot of seniority to give up at a different airline. I was hired onto the Airbus side back in 2018 even though AS had already aquired VX so I'm well versed in being hired when two airlines have merged. The difference between then and now is AS was actually hiring people during 2018 onto the 737.
Must be a good company. You gave up the big 3 for AS when all were hiring. Id gather anyone wanting AS today are for the same reasons you are still at AS.
