I think that’s where you fail to see the big picture. You were not there when that stuff happened. That’s where you see why having a union with a contract is good. I remember talking to a flex pilot during Covid on his go home day. He had a 16 hour duty day because of riding on project lift to get home. But it wasn’t his normal base. It was one of the 9 that he was given a choice of. He still had a 4 1/2 hour drive to get to his house after the 16 hour duty day. Sure flex would get him a hotel so he could drive home the next day but now he is commuting on his off day. I wonder if he is still there or has the same loving feelings you do for flex.
That is correct in regards to during COVID that is what was occuring. But we were getting from 12+ duty hours 3x's hourly pay
