Every pilot who takes the open SFO FO vacancy saves, most likely, multiple downstream displacements.
Generally, the ANC fo is senior to the SEA fo, who is senior to an LAX fo, who will end up in SFO. 1 reduction, multiple displacements. Same for PDX.
Wish we had some sight on what a balanced SFO will look like trip wise.

Im wondering the same. I'll be right on the cusp of being able to stay in sea. My dillema is the do i just make the jump to SFO for a decent line or be bottom 5 in SEA. Presumably all five PDX guys will move to seattle. And 2/3 of the ANC refugees. Im leaning towards biting the bullet and going to SFO and letting one of those seattle guys who lives in base stay. I currently have any easy commute to reserve in SEA, vs. a one leg albeit much less frequent commute to SFO for a line.
