Im wondering the same. Ill be right on the cusp of being able to stay in sea. My dillema is the do i just make the jump to SFO for a decent line or be bottom 5 in SEA. Presumably all five PDX guys will move to seattle. And 2/3 of the ANC refugees. Im leaning towards biting the bullet and going to SFO and letting one of those seattle guys who lives in base stay. I currently have any easy commute to reserve in SEA, vs. a one leg albeit much less frequent commute to SFO for a line.
If you're commute is easier in SEA then that is pretty valuable. This will probably be the last bid for a while. Not sure what your seniority would be in SFO, but you'll get used pretty good in Seattle as I'm sure you know. There aren't many commutable trips in SFO if you're in the bottom third, and then you could get a commute on one side of the trip but not the other when below half. You also get to look forward to Kim micromanaging you and getting disappointed when you call in sick because you really should have made better decisions so you didn't need to call in, and why aren't you able to help the operation and be a team player.
