and that is balanced out by airports United serves but those same competitors do not.
you really want to compare destinations served in the USA by United vs Southwest? Or a JetBlue Spirit etc?
Delta and American? I'd say that's a valid discussion with recognition each one has their strengths and weak spots for coverage in a region.
But United is not being harmed because they stopped service to some 50 seat markets that probably shouldn't have had 50 seat jets to begin with.
