By your logic, United would outsource anything that could be flown more profitably by another carrier. No kidding. That's why we have scope language in our contract.
My statement is proven they cannot fly it profitably because they are not already doing it. If you cannot wrap your head around labor and operating costs, I frankly don't have the time nor the desire to explain simple business concepts.
