I'm growing tired of this union.
I am not really sure what everyone is up and arms about. Casey sent a letter telling us he removed J and more details to come.
J stupidly decides to make it public which any decent lawyer would say is the exact opposite thing you should do and worse, denied knowing anything about why they may have removed him.
Now that the door is opened the union clarifies some things with more to come.
Several points I would like to make.
1. Casey’s email was on point as we should be made aware that something is going on, especially right after an election.
2. Totally normal to hire outside counsel for things like this as it offers an objective viewpoint on the issue.
3. J should have kept his mouth shut and if indeed innocent the truth would have come out with the investigation. If at that point he has some evidence to the contrary he could present it.
4. I just don’t see Casey going on a witch hunt like this for no reason or zero evidence of wrong doing. It would only backfire on him if there wasn’t anything to this.
5. Lastly, if outside counsel did recommend the removal and investigation and our BOD/President ignored it, it would open us up to a lot of potential exposure down the road.
People just need to let this play out and the chips will fall where they may. I lean on the side that there is no way Casey goes down this road without a good bit of evidence or enough testimony that he identifies a risk to our money if they don’t investigate.
call me ignorant, gullible or stupid but that’s where I stand in this as of now. Who knows, maybe J is completely innocent and this is a witch hunt by I’m guessing no. Even people that do great things can make bad decisions and just because he fought hard for us doesn’t make him immune to being human.
