The fact that you feel the need to jump on an anonymous web forum and boast about your financial security...tells all of us that you are, in fact, very insecure. The people who actually have achieved security don't have a need to publicly congratulate themselves on their success.

Plus, it's completely irrelevant to the topic at hand. And that is, should regional airlines do more, less, or no flying under the United logo? You won't find very many United pilots who would answer "more." Especially those who spent a decade or more at the regionals, but were motivated and competent enough to move up to mainline. I realize that in the past, some senior United pilots gladly voted for scope concessions in return for higher pay at mainline, but those people are mostly retiring. A new set of pilots is taking those seats, and these pilots have learned from the mistakes of the past.

If it was up to me, we'd bring all regional flying in-house.. We'd retire the Deuce, and offer customers a premium experience via the -550 and the 175. We'd offer preferential interviews to all current regional pilots flying for UAX carriers (as opposed to the no-interview flow through that GoJet and Republic pilots currently get, not to mention the metering of Skywest pilots that most definitely is a reality). Of course, the pay rates for those aircraft at mainline would be commensurate with their size. The current UAX regionals would shrink dramatically, and mainline would grow accordingly.

It's not up to me, of course, so this is highly unlikely to happen. But if you're in this forum to either boast about your financial security, or try to convince mainline pilots that the Mormon Air Force should do more flying under United colors...I don't think you'll find your time to be very well spent.
