Wow who cares, it's other peoples jobs to make sure those things are done for an "on-time". If there aren't any meals, thats a failure of catering, if there isn't any fuel that the failure of the ops. ect. ect.
I'm not sticking my neck out or going "above and beyond" to make sure other people do their jobs. I couldn't give two ****s if we leave on time, I get paid either way.
I despise people like you, the "gate pa" guys, the people who show up early to make sure "stuff gets done", the people who push wheel chairs, the guys that make people take an earlier van because "secruity might be busy". No No No. My duties and requirements are outlined in the contract and fom and I follow it. I don't show up early and I don't extend.
