Less RJ (outsource flying) will always be in the best interest of mainline seniority list. The limits, whether it be weight, city pairs, etc. are meant to protect mainline jobs. It's pretty obvious why a lifer at an outsource provider (regional) wants those limits removed. The regional airline model is fading, and they fight over the scraps that mainline contracts allow. This isn't 2001, and the days of rjs flying a majority at hubs are over. Every parked RJ is another job at mainline.
