If given the choice of a pay raise, or another pilot for the department, the majority of corporate pilots want another pilot. Most owners prefer to just give their current pilots more money and expect them to keep dealing with the schedule. After a while, no amount of money can make up for not being home, or having a predictable schedule.
This. After years in corporate and considering the changing job world, I think this will become a massive problem in the near future. Because ultimately there is not much that can be done here to be honest.
