You've got a point about SNA, but the 900ER is fine in LGA. Went there recently and it was moderate rain, but the runway code was still 5/5/5. Landed on runway 4 with autobrakes 3 and got off at U without even trying. If I did manual braking, I could have turned off before the runway 31/13. And according to FOQA, I touched down at 2,050 feet. Plenty of room at LGA.
