With the report time being > 18hours out, why wouldn’t they just call and notify me then (I was on an X-Day). That way they guarantee an on time report instead of giving me a short notice call out off of SC??

We don’t want calls on our X Day, even if you might. The system we have was designed with our pay and quality of life in mind. You’re free to do this job how you like. I just want you to be aware of the ways you’re hurting your brethren and indirectly yourself. With that knowledge, you do you…just don’t claim ignorance when other people watching potentially call out the unhelpful behavior.
