I know this a hot topic right now, but wanted to get the latest since it’s probably gonna happen to me. Assuming I don't get used I’m gonna YS SC numbers 7-9 at the end of the month. It’s my knowledge that they’re not going to give them to me, but they will give them to someone junior in the same day bucket who doesn’t yet have 6.

reading through the contract it doesn’t seem they have much language to justify denying a SC to a senior pilot who’s YSed them assuming they give that SC to any junior pilot in the same bucket (even if the senior guy has 6 SC already), as they don’t want to shell out 2 (3?) hours of pay for them.

Should I just keep YSing SC, get denied, and hope for some pay out when/if the issue is grieved by the union?
