Nobody who actually knows anything about this field thinks even remotely that the US or allies would employ tactical nukes in UA just because RU did. Including the Russians, so they aren't deterred by a non-prospect.

My professional experience doesn't give me a crystal ball, but it allows me to separate the probable/possible/hypothetical from the fringe lunacy. Room for debate within the former category, but the later is clearly not even on the table.
