It goes against every operating strategy at Alaska. No MAX 7s on order but buy used 787-8s? Haha no.

I know everyone is gagging for some kind of good news in the aircraft delivery department but there is none.

Well a little bit of good news:

Just filing for permits. Lots of wetlands to deal with but maybe the Feds will become more hands off when it comes to that for the next 4 years. There is hope.

If it happens, we could get to the 10 787s on order by 2030. Right now production is around 4 per month. So if things remain the same, it is very likely we will not see 10 787s by 2030.
