Trying to book my PS to/from CQ and all of the aisle and window seats in the front half of the aircraft are not selectable. Is this some new morale lowering policy recently put into place or has it always been this way? Let me tell you this really makes me want to go the extra mile for my employer - not! So no Economy comfort until 24 hours prior, now no window and aisle seats unless you are the back half of the aircraft.
Oh yeah, it wouldn't let me select any of the reclining emergency exit row seats either. Who the Hell is instituting these polices - Did DAL hire Ebenezeer Scrooge himslef?
Two questions - is this IAW the PWA? DO these restrictions loosen as the flight date comes closer - currently 1 month out?
Because it's just postive space to training, the PWA doesn't address seating requirements (it's only for deadheads on a rotation that seating is specified) so we get whatever the company decides. More seats, including Comfort and exit rows, are available 24 hours prior, which blows.
