So if anyone is thinking going NC will keep them from dropping a trip on you inside the first 2 hours, it really is a non-functioning provision as everyone in CS'ing interprets it differently than it's written. Not surprised either, just sayin'.
So you are going to take one Crew Assist (who are notorious for denying valid claims) denial as 'proof' it's a waste?

CA is obviously wrong. Try filing another Crew Assist case, and cite PWA 23.S.9.b.2.b, "The pilot must be able to report for a rotation with a report as early as two hours after the start of the short call period". 23.S.9.b.2.d states "their line may contain a rotation with a report as early as two hours from the start of the short call period" Furthermore, "Report" is defined in 2.245 as "one hour before the scheduled departure"

If they still fail to do the right thing, file your STS. From what you wrote, 100% chance you get paid whatever your first FDP block+MU was, or 2:00 DP minimum.
