While I agree it is not as small as, say a 737 well, the body of a grown man would still be visible if care was taken during the walk around. We all know those whose walk-around inspections are not truly inspections, but rather literally just a walk-around (It can get chilly and windy in Chicago after all...) Roast me all you want, but if this stowaway did originate in Sao Paulo, it definitely should have been caught by MX or flight crew before the flight to Maui.
