I haven’t looked but I doubt I could find an LTD policy that would pay me the equivalent after tax amount and cover me to 65 with no cap or exclusions and without having to provide EOI for the cost of imputed income. I’m not certain of this but it’s just a hunch based on what my friends at AA have told me the imputed income charge is (not much according to them)

I think there are a lot of pilots here whose high 12 will include early 2023 for awhile. especially if they were already CAs. With what people can make in understaffed categories and the fact we don’t stay understaffed forever I disagree that it is meaningless.
Their contract states monthly pay. Ours specifically includes PS and other payments. Their monthly pay statement comes from their 2004 contract referenced in the 2023 contract as how FAE is calculated. There might be a side letter amending that but I could not locate one.

It also appears they do not get the 34% of their disability paid into their retirement plan. Trust me on this. That is huge!
