Huh... never heard that one, but it is a CJO, I guess. Just seems like something they'd specify if it was a requirement. People have gone months - like 9-10 - in the past at certain regionals between indoc and sims and I'm pretty sure most of them didn't want/permit any outside flying. I'd probably ask the company - that is if they will respond.
