I am familiar with 25.R and it is my experience that CS often disregards that section and just does what they want.
That being said, I don’t think that this is a bad place to work.
Then you hold them accountable. NEVER answer the phone. That gives you 15 mins to verify the correct assignment. Then, you have a CBA section ready for a supervisor. A lot of assignment issues stems from new schedulers who just dont know all the intricacies of our CBA.
