See the problem we have is those are profitable operations and Skywest would shut it down and take the planes over on their side and use them right away. The biggest issue with a bunch of us is taking away our LAX base just to start flying themselves out of LAX. For a lot of us that live on the west coast, this is not acceptable.
I thought the lawyer specifically said that would not happen. That they would find profitable ops for those (XJT) jets for XJT pilots or shut it all down. Just my take
