Will be on long call in base starting February, first time in my life no commute. United is a great company, have only worked with awesome people. My only regret is I didn't do/try this 2/3 years ago, because I would be better off .now than I was at NK. Not seniority, but living in base in the left seat on reserve at UAL definitely beats comuting to a senior line at NK. Taking a $200K+ pay cut isn't easy. If I knew I would upgrade in a year or two I wouldn't worry at all. I will update in 8 years.... (Or 10, LEPF😂
