If you're hell-bent on not using it, I'd try to get your account deleted. I would not be comfortable lying to TSA and telling them I'm not registered in KCM when I am. They might be able to use that against you.
Or simply don’t bring your KCM card to work, and state “I don’t have my KCM barcode.” Going through KCM without it is no longer an option.
