That's true for KCM status, which is to say randoms. Also true for working crew member who doesn't have or bother with KCM.

I don't think that applies to a nonrev pilot who choses to not even try KCM. Especially in the international context, where you're required to do regular screening with no KCM or special privilege.

I think in that case you'd need to actually be enrolled in Pre-Check, since you're travelling as a civilian like any other pax.

International agreements drive that requirement, so it's actually not just smurfs making chit up.
