SWA would have a total debt of close to $16 Billion if they buy JetBlue. Ain’t gonna happen. Especially the fact that all their debt is rated junk. Cash of about $11.5 billion between the two. Total upside down on the balance sheet. Literally almost a billion a year in interest payments. On top of the fact they would have to pay a premium to buy them. A partnership.. maybe.
