The only vote the pilots are eligible for are if the contract were to be amended or the pilot held stock and there was a stockholder vote. Front line employees don't get too much of a say in a large corporation's business dealings. The RLA prevents airline workers from most of the things they could do to express their opinion. So, like everything else, have your backup plan in place and a polished resume.
