I think it's us that we keep accepting those jobs. I mean, look at the salaries at Colgan, or Pinnacle.(,) What a disgrace for our proffession (profession). I am not working in the US any more and no matter who(how) much I love this country, we are making(doing) everything possible to keep downgrading our proffession (profession). I see the salaries regional pilots make in other countries and I am ashamed to say what we were(are) making in the US. What captains make in (at) Any regional here in the USA, the first officers start (at)in other countries. I was amazed. Oh and most of those companies.(,)/(are) Not Union. Anyway, jumpseat wars hurt the industry. Regional salaries hurt the industry. Hulas ($#@^%) hurts the industry. And (in)my opinion, ALPA at the regionals, hurts the industry.
For those who wondered(are wondering), yes I did worked (work) at GJ for a year and a half.
Do i agree with GJ managment. HELL NOOOOOO. But also I don't agree with what TSA did to their pilots, and UNFORTUNATELLY (unfortunately) nobody did anyting (anything). defenitelly (definitely) not ALPA. I have friends at TSA and GJ and PINNACLE and other companies. I have never been denied a jumpseat and working for GJ did not ended(end) my career. I have interviewed with major domestic and international carriers and I had job offers from the majority of them(thats just bull shizzle). I choose (chose) international flying just because the money were (was) better and I have a better schedule. And yes I do commute to the USA.
Gents, have a nice day, be proffessional (professional) but most of all, be SAFE
I have no doubt you worked for GoJet.
