Ok. That's a SI path I'm not familiar with, but of course that's Navy logic for you. Make it take forever to get help, then drag the waiver out so you hit an unwaiverable time limit.

Reach out to Wingman Med or AMAS or someone along those lines. Getting a SI medical isnt impossible but there will be some wickets to hit, time post treatment etc. They are the experts, well worth a consultation fee before you even try anything with the FAA. Don't go to FAA, try to get a medical, etc before engaging Wingman/AMAS.
What's in your military medical records they will see, so be totally open kimono with the Aermedical consultant of your choice. FWIW, Wingman Med is a Navy guy, Naval Aviator turned Flight Surgeon, he will speak NAMI and be able to translate to FAA in the most favorable manner to you.
