Can anyone refute the following? I’m not saying it’s true but if it is, this could be a big deal.

“The captain of the Toronto Endeavor flight reportedly failed out of Delta first officer training and was sent back to the regional carrier where they remained in charge of an aircraft.”
We also have a provision in the contract to pull yourself out of training and return to your previous position. I’d imagine some longtime wide body folks bid narrow body captain and decide that’s not for them.

They don’t get fired.

Some folks hate Airbus because they have been on a six pack forever. They are certainly safe on their previous equipment.

Are you saying someone who has ever failed training shouldn’t touch a plane ever again?
