In CLT for example, at 9000' abeam the numbers you're cleared for the visual. You can make your standard 45deg downwind to base turn and hit the numbers if you know what you're doing. That's what the Dash'll do.
oh man, i did a charlotte slam dunk yesterday, nose pitched 15 down gear and flaps out, props max power out, to catch the glideslope, its amazing it will hold 120 running down hill like that. and nobody was lined up on 36R to watch...
