Had one guy go so far to take a pic of a LE slat seal that was sticking up a bit, obviously ok, hand his phone to a FA and had her bring it up front for us to look at to see if it was ok and the plane was safe.
Unfortunately, in this day and age, that's going to be a mx delay. Unless it was already in the book.
