Being in a big base & coming into contact with a fairly large number of pilots, I see almost universal agreement with this. What the Teamsters, aided & abetted by a handful of pilots from Destin have done, has been financially ruinous to this pilot group, to an extent that will never come close to being recovered & will have effects reaching far into retirement age for us all.
I've spent countless hours since the last election talking with many pilots from many bases. Not exagerating. And I agree with what you and even Jimmy have said. I talk to people LAS, most want a contract like "yesterday" for the same reasons you stated. Conversations with people in IWA, BNA, AVL, FLL, PGD, LAX... basically the only bases I haven't talked to so far are BLI, PVU and ATW. The rest, it's a good number of people that if they weren't afraid to be called "unsupportive", "sell outs", "not team players", "company plants" and whatever else? They would publicly express themselves more boldly.
